There is a significant portion of the US voting population that rejects the idea of man and the state on which the welfare state is predicated, and in doing so, traces its roots to America's unique founding idea. I wish his family peace during their time of grieving. I really enjoyed "Man, the State, and War" by Walt, and I've read a few of Mearsheimer's articles.
